On the MS Mount Washington, we’ve always believed that we all need to do our part to look out for our neighbors. This season, our crew is embarking on a new mission to end local hunger.
We call it The Big Catch.
Working alongside the NH Food Bank, we’ve created two unique ways for you to help us provide thousands of meals specifically to families in the Lakes Region.
1. The Big Catch Signature Cocktail
What if a fun vacation memory could help a family in need?
Our bar team has crafted The Big Catch—a premium, tropical citrus and coconut blend that tastes like summer on the water. It’s served in our custom, souvenir fish-shaped tiki mug so that other passengers know you've donated to a good cause, and you can even take home with you to maximize your impact.

The Sip: For every "Big Catch" cocktail ordered, we provide a meal for a local family of four.

The Souvenir: When you purchase the souvenir mug for $20, you quadruple your impact. A portion of every mug sale is donated directly to our food security partners—enough to provide 16 meals for our neighbors.
2. The Beautiful Catch Art Installation
Hunger isn't always visible, but our community support should be. We invite guests of all ages to participate in The Beautiful Catch, a collaborative art installation located on board.
For a $3 donation, you will receive a branded wooden fish tag. Write a message of hope, a memory of the lake, or a note to a neighbor, and clip it to our nautical community net.

The Impact: Every fish added to the net provides 4 meals through the NH Food Bank.
As the season progresses, this net will fill with shimmering fish—a powerful, visual "school of support" representing the thousands of meals provided by our guests and crew.
Why It Matters: The Power of Two
We’ve partnered with the NH Food Bank because of their incredible efficiency. Even in an era of rising costs, they remain a beacon of hope. Currently, it costs just $1.28 to provide two full meals to someone in need.
This means that a simple choice during your cruise—a specific cocktail or a $3 art tag—is amplified into real, tangible relief for families in Meredith and the surrounding Lakes Region.
